By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Eligibility

To use PaySpill, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have the legal right to submit salary information
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Age Verification: Users under 18 must have parental consent to use our platform. We reserve the right to verify age and request additional documentation if necessary.

User Responsibilities

As a PaySpill user, you agree to:

  • Maintain the anonymity of your submissions
  • Not attempt to identify other users through the platform
  • Use the platform for legitimate salary research purposes only
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of PaySpill and other users
  • Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access our services

Data Accuracy: While we encourage honest reporting, we cannot verify the accuracy of user-submitted data. Users are responsible for the truthfulness of their submissions.

Intellectual Property

PaySpill Content

All content, design, software, and intellectual property on PaySpill, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by PaySpill and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

User Data

While you retain ownership of your original salary data, by submitting information to PaySpill, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and aggregate your data for analytical purposes while maintaining your anonymity.

License: You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from PaySpill content without our express written permission.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use PaySpill for any of the following purposes:

  • Scraping, harvesting, or redistributing aggregated salary data
  • Reselling or commercializing our data without permission
  • Using data for discriminatory hiring practices or profiling
  • Attempting to reverse engineer our algorithms or systems
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfering with the platform's security or functionality
  • Creating fake accounts or submitting fraudulent data

Enforcement: Violations of these terms may result in immediate account suspension and legal action. We reserve the right to investigate and prosecute violations to the fullest extent of the law.

Disclaimers

Important: PaySpill provides salary data "as-is" without warranties or guarantees.

  • Salary data is user-submitted and may not be fully accurate or representative
  • Market conditions and salary trends can change rapidly
  • Individual circumstances may vary significantly from aggregated data
  • We do not guarantee specific salary outcomes or career results
  • Platform availability and functionality are provided on a best-effort basis

Users should use PaySpill data as one factor among many when making career and compensation decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaySpill, its affiliates, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Career decisions based on platform data
  • Third-party actions or content
  • Platform downtime or technical issues
  • Data breaches or security incidents

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for our services in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Termination

By PaySpill

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PaySpill at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

By User

You may stop using our services at any time. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at legal@payspill.com.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use PaySpill ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limitations survive termination.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.

  • Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification
  • Continued use of PaySpill after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms
  • If you disagree with changes, you must stop using our services
  • Previous versions of terms are available upon request

Notification: We will provide at least 30 days notice for material changes that affect your rights or obligations.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles.

EU Compliance: For users in the European Union, these terms also comply with applicable EU regulations including GDPR and other privacy and consumer protection laws.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PaySpill will be resolved in the courts of Türkiye, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
